Our mission at LME is two-fold, to provide the best quality music education for our clients at the best price and to support our local community through performances at many area events, fundraisers and festivals. Our Mission
About us
Lexington Music Education is a community music school located in Lexington, Kentucky. Founded in 2007, we are previously known as The Lexington Music Academy, located at 406 Rosemont Garden. Having outgrown our building, as of September 2013 we are now known as Lexington Music Education at a location more suitable for the needs of our clients. We are located at 274 Southland Drive in suite 205, just down the road from our former site.
Our faculty members are top notch, and all have degrees and professional certifications in music and the performing arts. Unlike other central Kentucky locations offering lessons you won't encounter wannabe rock stars on our faculty who just teach to pay the bills. Our faculty members teach because they love to teach and work with their students!
We offer private instruction on guitar, piano, voice, violin, percussion of all kinds, bass, mandolin, ukulele, and banjo. We also offer group classes in guitar. One of our featured and most popular programs is ROCK SCHOOL!
At Lexington Music Education we believe it is essential for our clients to have performance opportunities; performing is what being a musician really is all about, getting on stage for all the world to see! As such our students have played many gigs, performances, and benefit concerts in the central Kentucky area throughout the years and will continue to do so. Additionally, many of our clients have gone on to pursue advanced degrees in music and have professional careers in music and the arts.
