Mrs. Tiffany Mattingly is the head of the strings department at Lexington Music Education.  Mrs. Mattingly has extensive experience playing and teaching violin with her educational background stemming from time spent at the Cleveland Institute Of Music, Peabody Institute in Baltimore and with a degree in violin performance from Boston University.  Mrs. Mattingly is a former member of the Lexington Philharmonic Orchestra with eleven years of playing in LPO.  Mrs. Mattingly teaches all styles of violin music from the standard classical repertoire to Appalachian fiddle tunes and all things in between.  Mrs. Mattingly is also a trained Musicgarten instructor and has extensive knowledge in early childhood music education, having previously spent time teaching orchestra in Fayette County Public Schools.
