     The faculty at Lexington Music Education offer many opportunities for the aspiring guitarist, bassist, mandolin player, ukulele player and banjo player.  Students at LME can study all styles of music on the most versatile of instruments, the guitar.  We offer private lessons in all styles including Classical, jazz, rock, country, metal, singer/songwriter, folk and  all other styles.  Our faculty members have advanced degrees from leading U.S. universities including Eastern Kentucky University, North Texas State University, Western Kentucky University, and the University of Kentucky.  Scroll down for info about our guitar course offerings.

CHILDBLOOM GUITAR CLASS

    At LME we also offer group classes on guitar for young players in our childbloom guitar program.  Childbloom is a wonderful program of study for young players ages five to twelve.  The curriculum is all classical guitar note reading based and is fantastic for developing strong technique and fretboard awareness.  The technique is fingerstyle with students playing in groups of two to four players at a time.  You can learn more about Childbloom guitar by visiting the childbloom website by clicking here.
