Mrs. Cichon received a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education at Marshall University, studying under Dr. Edwin Bingham. She currently resides with her husband, son and border collie in Lexington, KY and is playing with both the Central Kentucky Concert Band and the Central Kentucky Saxophone Trio.

​​​She has been teaching private lessons and master classes since 2008. Her favorite pieces to perform are Gillingham's concert band piece With Heart and Voice and Debussy's Rapsodie for saxophone and piano. She enjoys spending time with family, reading and is currently training for her third half marathon.

Sara Cichon has been a trained musician and saxophonist since 2002. She has performed in concert bands, jazz bands, orchestras and small ensembles in Columbus, OH, Huntington, WV and Lexington, KY.
